A cross-gable roof extension, supported by a post-and-beam scissor truss perched atop two hefty stone pillars, gives the entry a complete new standing. Colorful landscaping ups the appeal along the pathway to the entrance door. Diagonal cedar siding in a dark end gave the house a dated look.
